Parpar Records is an independent music recording, mixing and production studio that emerged in 2022, as the brainchild of producer and musician, Jacob Gorzhaltsan. What began with Jacob recording remote horn overdubs for local artists during the pandemic eventually expanded to a small operation that has seen two official releases under the label name, with several more projects currently in the works. 

Under the Parpar Record label, Wide Arches released their debut full-length album, "Farewell to All the Lovely Things". The album has been garnering much attention, receiving warm reviews from critics and charting nine times on Canadian college-radio (CFBX, CJSF, CICK, CJAM, CFRC) including three top 10 appearances. In late 2024, Jacob recorded/mixed and produced the debut EP "Zikhroynes" for Yosl and the Yingels. The EP has charted 9 times in the top 10 international college radio charts (placing 2nd four times on CFBX 92.5). Parpar Records is excited to have mixed and produced the debut album from The Jellyfish, coming out officially on December 1st, 2025. 

Most recently, Jacob had the pleasure of mixing Alex Bird’s new single, “Get It Down”, as well as the title track of “Casanova Bossa Nova Lover Man” — the new EP from Alex Bird, Ewen Farncombe and Latin-Grammy winner, Cheo.
